The Morris Light Reconnaissance Car was a light armored car, first introduced in 1940. It differed from other armored cars in that its three-man crew sat side by side, resulting in a relatively wide vehicle. The Mark I only had two-by-four drive, which was improved to four-by-four drive with the Mark II, introduced in 1943. A total of about 2200 were built before production ceased in 1944.
The Morris Light Reconnaissance Cars saw action in North Africa and Europe until the end of the war.
